The Bible says God is wise, fair, just, merciful, all knowing. He is quite capable of handling the judgement all by himself. However, it is important for justice to not only be done but to be seen to be done.
Satan charged God with being a tyrant, that He was unfair and much more. The judgment will exonerate God and his dealing with the sin problem. All will see his love and fairness.

Who needs a judgement?
-We do. Revelation 12:10 The name “Satan” means accuser.
-God does. He gets the blame for a lot. Satan questions his dealings with men Job 1
Does God need a judgement day to find out who will be saved? 2 Timothy 2:19

In the last great judgment, the lost will not be condemned for the fact that they were born in sin, but because they spurned the love of God and refused to turn from rebellion and accept Christ as their Saviour. |
